Service Openings
*IMAGE  Central Office Volunteers needed to answer phones (and help with other tasks) during business hours. There are several shifts (2 to 3 hours each) currently available.

Interested? Want more information? Call 415.674.1821 and speak to Maury or Nikki during business hours (10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday) to find out details and how to sign up for a training shift.

This is excellent service and a great way to learn to talk to wet drunks, dry drunks, families, friends, and all sorts about what A.A. does and doesn’t do. See the Traditions applied! (One year sobriety requirement.)
*IMAGE  Calling all responsible alkies with Teleservice experience! The changing of the guard is here. We need a new Teleservice Chair and an Information Chair starting the fourth week of February. Also needed are one or two day coordinators.

This is a great way to be of service, and really only takes a couple of emails a week. We also have nine open teleservice shifts (no previous teleservice experience required).

To get involved, please come to the Teleservice Committee business meeting and orientation the third Monday of February (the 20th) at 6 p.m. at Central Office.
Intergroup Treasurer's Report
*IMAGE  Month Ended December 2016 For December 2016, Gross Margin (defined as Total Revenue less Cost of Goods Sold) was $32,119, over budget by $724. Total Operating Expenses for December were $20,620, over budget by $798. The result is Net Operating Surplus of $11,499. Net Surplus for December was $11,029, under budget by $411, and incorporates other income and expenses. 2016 Net Surplus is $28,479 compared to a break-even annual budget. The Net Surplus is due to strong group and individual contributions in 2016 and employee expenses under budget primarily because of vacancies in special worker positions during the year.

Group Contributions for December were $12,209, over budget by $1,977. Total 2016 Group Contributions were $169,254, over budget by $18,122. Total 2016 Individual Contributions were $61,190, over budget by $16,536.

Total Unrestricted Cash for December 2016 was $49,244, an increase of $8,397 from November 2016, primarily due to gratitude month and individual contributions in December. Unrestricted Cash is over two months of operating expenses. The rating for December is “Excellent”, the same as November.
